Asian Art Activity: Bewitched #2 Seoul

Get inspired by Jung Yeondoo’s “Bewitched #2 Seoul.” This video will take you into the Asian Art Museum galleries and offer prompts for creating portraits of your own. Interview someone in your life and create a pair of portraits using pencil, paper, and collage materials. Learn more about the artwork by watching SAM’s Asian Art Spotlight video (youtu.be/bsX4UvPzp-c) and then get ready to get creative!

SAM has also designed a Look & Make Lesson that outlines the steps in this video designed for grades 6–8. It is available in English, Spanish, and Chinese:

While the Asian Art Museum is closed, we are working to connect art lovers of all ages to this rich collection of art. In this series of videos we explore art from across the world’s largest continent that focus on diverse art objects and provide opportunity for creative response. Each video can be used in virtual classrooms, at home by parents and caregivers, and by friends hanging out online! These videos are aligned with Washington State learning standards in Visual Art and English Language Arts.
