This film was created to show the ‘Seattle Black Connection.’ On November 24, 2012 members of Seattle’s African American Community gathered to prepare for the viewing of the King Tut exhibit on display for a limited time. This moment formed an even deeper connection between young and old, sharing in the oral history of songs of the African American experience in Seattle and the Diaspora.
