As an elected member of the National Academy of Medicine and the first nurse to have served on the board of the American Geriatrics Society, Terry Fulmer has dedicated her career to improving the health of older adults. In this story, we learn about her trajectory from bedside nursing to academia to leading the national conversation around age-friendly health systems.
